What is GMS certification?

GMS certification process

1. Apply for Google MADA agreement: fill in the basic information of the company -- submit an MADA application to Google -- Google assessment and review -- Google confirmation -- sign the MADA agreement;

2. Software and hardware testing of the product: provide the relevant products, software drivers and all other information, which shall be provided as follows:

A. Provide products (mobile phones, tablets, etc.) according to the certification requirements;

B. If the product USES a customized driver or software, the RELEASE version of the driver software should be provided. If there is a corresponding debugging file such as PDB, it can also be provided;

3. Submit the test report to Google for review: only the test report that has passed the complete test will be submitted to Google certification center;

4. Get GOOGLE certification authorization: after submitting for approval, the customer's products will be authorized with the LOGO of GOOGLE (GOOGLE), and the products will be placed in the global list of GOOGLE products that have passed the certification.

Considerations for GMS certification

1. The product must pass the CTS test;

2. The product must pass CTS Verify;

3. The product must pass GTS test;

4. The product must be certified with android version 7.0 or above;

5. The product has the obligation to pass CE, FCC, BT, WIFI and other hardware certification. (non-hard and fast)
